Advancing Equitable and Inclusive Vaccine Science

Pfizer Canada has invested $500,000 in Global Nexus to support McMaster University’s goal of supporting inclusive excellence in research by training emerging scholars from equity-deserving groups in the field of vaccinology, as well as students conducting vaccine research focused on populations who are especially vulnerable to infectious diseases.

The funding will support the following:

1 Global Nexus/Pfizer Postdoctoral Fellowship in Vaccine Science
2 Global Nexus/Pfizer Graduate Fellowships in Vaccine Science
1 undergraduate student participating in the Biochemistry and Biomedical Sciences Summer Scholars Program
